Overview

The Scottish Cardiac Society are celebrating their 25th Anniversary and have put together a fantastic programme of lectures and discussions.

The programme includes the following:

  • Dedicated training session
  • Cells and Assist Devices- the way forward in advanced heart failure by Professor Stephen Westaby
  • Scientific Sessions
  • Anniversary sessions including talks from the original presenters of the first SCS meeting
  • Case Presentations
  • The 2017 Guest Lecture will be delivered by Professor John McMurray

If you are an undergraduate medical student you are eligible for the SCS member Abstract Author rate. Please select this when booking your attendance.

Accommodation

The rates agreed are £144.00 per room based on single occupancy and £169.00 per room based on twin or double occupancy.  This rate includes a full Scottish breakfast. Any rooms unallocated at 4th August will be automatically released.

All relevant events are approved for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). A certificate of attendance with CPD information will be issued to individual delegates on the day. Please note - certificates can only be issued to attendees who have signed against their name on the CPD Register/Delegate List available at each event and completed feedback forms have been received.
