Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh
9 Queen Street

Overview

The Evening Medical Update on Tuesday 24 April 2018 will cover 'Haematemesis/Melaena' (see Programme for further details) and will run from 6.30 pm to approximately 8.15 pm.

The Evening Medical Updates (EMU) programme covers the ‘Top Medical Presentations’ and ‘Emergency Presentations’ as defined in the GIM training curriculum. The 26 topics are covered in a rolling programme, with monthly updates held between September and June of each academic year.

Each EMU consists of three 30-minute presentations. The programme allows time for discussion and questions with contributions from all centres.

Although aimed particularly at core trainees, Evening Medical Updates are open to all hospital doctors, GPs, other healthcare professionals, and medical students. They are free of charge to all.

Updates are held at the College in Edinburgh but streamed live to a number of other centres around the UK and further afield (see Live Links for the current list of venues).

To attend at any site, please book online, or download a registration form.

If you are unable to attend at the College or a streaming site, a limited number of places are available to access the event by individual streaming. Please contact the Education Co-ordinator Josiane Kirk at j.kirk@rcpe.ac.uk
