Date: Wednesday, 5 November 2014
Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh
9 Queen Street
Edinburgh EH2 1JQ
The CMT training days are a joint initiative of RCPE and NHS Education for Scotland (South East Scotland Deanery). Six training days are held at RCPE between September and June of each year (see under Further Information for future dates). They are aimed specifically at CMT and ACCS (Acute Medicine) trainees in South East Scotland Deanery.
Key topics from the Core Medcal Training curriculum are covered in a two-year rolling programme.
If you are a trainee in South East Scotland and are unsure if you should be attending the programme, please check with your Educational Supervisor. If you are eligible to attend but have not been receiving programme information from RCPE, please contact the Education Co-ordinator at the College (see Fees and Contact Details page).
Key topics from the Core Medical Training curriculum are covered in a two-year rolling programme.
A full programme with detailed timings, if available in advance, will be emailed to trainees in South East Scotland.
Attendance is free of charge to CMT and ACCS (Acute Medicine) trainees in South East Scotland. There is no need to register in advance.
Unfortunately, due to pressures on room space, it is not normally possible to accommodate trainees from South East Scotland who are not undertaking Core Medical Training, or trainees in CMT from other Deaneries. However, if you are interested in a particular training day please check with the Education Co-ordinator (see below) whether space may be available. If space is available, a registration fee would be charged for trainees from other Deaneries.
