Date: Tuesday, 24 July 2018

Venue:

Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh
9 Queen Street

Overview

The Evening Medical Update on 24 July 2018 will cover Top tips on life as an FY1 (see Programme for further details) and will run from 6.30 pm to approximately 8.15 pm.

It is an extra session as part of the Evening Medical Updates (EMU) programme which covers the ‘Top Medical Presentations’ and ‘Emergency Presentations’ as defined in the GIM training curriculum. The 26 topics are covered in a rolling programme, with monthly updates held between September and June of each academic year.

Each EMU consists of three 30-minute presentations. The programme allows time for discussion and questions with contributions from all centres.

Although this event is aimed particularly at FY1 doctors, Evening Medical Updates are open to all healthcare professionals and medical students. They are free of charge.

Updates are held at the College in Edinburgh but streamed live to other centres around the UK and further afield (see Live Links for the current list of venues).

To attend at any site, please book online. If you are unable to attend at the College or a streaming site, a limited number of places are available to access the event by individual streaming. Please contact the Education Co-ordinator for this event.
