Join the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh for the next in our series of online International Medical Updates (IMU) which brings together experts from Malta to discuss a variety of topics.
This IMU is free to all physicians in Malta, Members and Fellows of RCPE and all trainees.
Delegates will have the opportunity to submit questions to the speakers which will be addressed live at the event, 7.30 - 9.30pm (Malta Standard Time)/ 6.30 - 8.30pm (UK).
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr Myra K Tilney from Malta for her support in developing this event.
This update presents well-established areas in Maltese healthcare that may be of general interest and topics include:
- Adults with increasing congenital heart disease, with everyday examples and important aspects of follow up.
- Overview of MyHealth: the national online portal facilitating doctor-patient information-sharing, with patient-initiated action a pivotal aspect. The practical and organisational challenges encountered, and its development towards a personal health record component of the National Electronic Health Record will be addressed.
- Coagulopathy of liver disease problems encountered in practice, with practical points presented.
This event allows the opportunity for delegates to watch the presentations live, or at their convenience for up to 28 days following the original broadcast. Please note that the talks will be available to view on-demand by the second working day after the live event. Delegates can continue to register for on-demand access only after the live event has taken place. Please note that access closes 28 days after the original broadcast, not after the point of booking.
