COVID-19 and RCPE Events

The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh continues to monitor the spread of Covid-19 closely. We are following government advice across all of our practices and will continue to do so.

In line with government advice, the College will be delivering educational opportunities remotely where possible or rescheduling events to a later date. Information for each individual event will be updated on our Events Calendar.

External CPD credits will be issued in the same way as for attending the meeting in Edinburgh or at a webstream site. Additionally, we will publish the content from most of our events online after each event and this will be made available to delegates, as we acknowledge that you may be unable to take time for education activities.

COVID-19 Update Meetings

We are holding weekly online meetings on COVID-19, to support healthcare professionals. These are broadcast live every Thursday evening. If you are unable to join live you can watch the recordings online.

We would like to thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions, please contact your individual event coordinator.

Cancellation policy

Delegates may cancel their registration for a course more than 21 days in advance and receive a full refund, or a symposium more than seven days in advance. As described above, if you are unable to attend an event in person, you will receive a personal webstream link or access to the talks after the event.

Travel advice

Please refer to the travel advice issued by your own government. The college is not able to advise you whether you should travel or not.

The World Health Organization Guidance is available on their website: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/travel-advice
