The International Course in Medicine for the Older Adult will continue online this year due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation. Whereas previously we would welcome colleagues from around the world to the College, and we are able to make the course available to people in their own homes and workplaces by going online.
The course is aimed at health care practitioners who specialise, or have a major interest, in the care of older people. Although of particular value to doctors at consultant or senior trainee level, many general practitioners, allied health professionals and specialist nurses will also find this two day online course very relevant and worthwhile.
The course is designed to update delegates on the theory and practice of elderly adult care. It includes lectures by experts from around the world on topics of current and practical relevance. Each presentation will be followed by a question and answer session, allowing delegates to pose questions using the Slido platform.
This online course allows the opportunity for delegates to watch the presentations live, or at their convenience over the following 28 days. Delegates can book for full day attendances or half day attendances, increasing the flexibility for delegates to choose the areas of the course that interests them most.
Details of the 2022 programme and fees will be available online soon.
