This evening symposium is being organised by the Scottish Alcohol Research Network (SARN) and Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems (SHAAP).
This is a free satellite event of the 8th European Alcohol Policy Conference. The main purpose is to share what is happening in alcohol research with a wider audience, with the aim of having an impact across and beyond academic circles.
The first SHAAP/SARN Symposium was held in 2016, attended by exceptional PhD and early career researchers from Scotland and beyond. They explored how to work innovatively in alcohol research and how to successfully engage with external audiences.
