The Scottish Paediatric Society has the pleasure of welcoming you all to this year’s St Andrew’s Day Paediatric Symposium. The strong partnership established between the Scottish Royal Colleges, RCPCH and SACCH is evident in the ongoing success of this annual event which gives all paediatricians throughout Scotland the opportunity to meet within a friendly forum and share with each other knowledge gained through personal clinical experience and from paediatric research.

The members’ support for the Scottish Paediatric Society is reflected in the strong turn out on the day and the continuing large number of abstracts submitted by trainees every year for research/audit, clinical and poster presentations. We also welcome medical students as they pursue an interest in Paediatrics and allied health professional demonstrating a commitment to Paediatrics in Scotland. The impressive quality of abstracts submitted makes the task of the abstract selection groups challenging.

RCPCH has approved this activity for CPD in accordance with the current RCPCH CPD Guidelines.

Access

A wheelchair lift and internal lift are in place at the College, allowing access to the conference centre and historic rooms. However, as a listed building, meeting rooms 4 & 5 have restricted access. For further information and assistance, please contact the Event Co-ordinator responsible for the event.

An induction loop system is available in the Great Hall and Conference Centre Auditorium.
