Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems (SHAAP) warmly invites you to join us online on 23rd September from 2-4PM BST for the launch of our ‘Rural Matters’ report: Understanding alcohol use in rural Scotland: Findings from a qualitative research study.
This report is the culmination of five community consultations and 25 qualitative interviews with healthcare professionals, service providers, recovery community members and fellowship members living and/or working in rural and remote areas of Scotland. We are grateful to everyone who took the time to participate in our events and interviews and would like to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you. We hope that this report will reflect your views and experiences at the same time as it puts forward recommendations for policy and practice to better serve your communities.
The presentation of the report will last approximately 45 - 60 minutes and the remaining time will be open for a Q&A session and discussion.
This event will be held online on the Zoom platform. A joining link will be emailed to registrants in advance of the session on 23rd September. Thank you for registering for our event.
