Join the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh for the next in our series of online International Medical Updates (IMU) which brings together experts from Bangladesh to provide an overview on Tuberculosis: Present and Future.
Tuberculosis (TB) is an ancient disease, which is still prevalent globally, particularly in South East Asia. We know that TB affects many parts of the body, but is still very challenging to diagnose and treat. With the number of drug resistant TB cases steadily increasing, the management of this disease is resulting in more patients requiring critical care. During this IMU we will explore these new and increasing challenges, Extrapulmonary TB, and the management of TB in special situations.
This IMU is free to all physicians in Bangladesh, Members and Fellows of RCPE and all trainees.
Delegates will have the opportunity to submit questions to the speakers which will be addressed live at the event, 8.00 -10.00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time)/ 3.00 - 5.00pm (UK).
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Professor Quazi Tarikul Islam, RCPE RA from Bangladesh for his support in developing this event.
