*A selection of talks from the 2020 RCPE India: Updates in Clinical Medicine event are available to RCPE Fellows and Members on our Education Portal.
Overview
Though COVID-19 pandemic has posed its own peculiar challenges to physicians globally, there is an ongoing need to continue to manage other non communicable diseases effectively. Keeping this in mind, in this first ever RCPE India Webinar- Updates in Clinical Medicine the focus is on some of the very important areas for all clinicians.
This programme starts with a pertinent discussion on the medical management of heart failure, followed by advances in management of ischemic stroke. In the next two talks two relevant and often perplexing issues in clinical medicine are discussed, namely abnormal liver function tests and what we should be advising our patients regarding salt. The last talk covers poly-pharmacy in elderly patients, which is relevant to patients of other age groups as well.
To round it off, all senior RCPE Office bearers would be at hand to answer your questions regarding College's Vision and Mission in a unique Q&A session.
This International Medical Update is free for RCPE Fellows, Members and all trainees.
We thank the College and our fellow OSRAs from India, Dr Suvro Banerjee, Dr Milind Desai and Dr Pazhani Ranganathan for the support to this event and their involvement.
This event and CPD/feedback survey will be open for 2 weeks after the event so you can catch up on anything you miss live, and in any time zone.
