This is part of a series of three events aimed at school students who are considering a career in medicine.
This is your chance to speak with practising physicians, and GPs about their journey into their particular field of medicine. We will hear from physicians who spent their lives studying blood, bones, eyeballs, and the pancreas.
This lecture is an invitation to follow along the path of our medical professionals as they make hard decisions, personally and professionally, in the pursuit of science, health, and happiness.
Perhaps you will be inspired to follow along in their footsteps and become a geriatrician (a physician trained in helping older patients) or a haematologist (doctors who are experts in blood) or perhaps you’ll simply see that doctors are people too! And if they can do it… so can you!
S2, S3, and S4 students are particularly encouraged to attend with members of their support system including parents, teachers, and friends.
A Q&A will follow the lecture.
Tickets are free and are available to book through Eventbrite.
