Join the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh for the next in our series of online International Medical Updates (IMU) which brings together expert speakers from Iraq to discuss topics on the themes of cardiology and and haemato-oncology.
Clinicians in the field of internal medicine often expect to cross paths with two common patient groups; those with cardiovascular disease and those who suffer from cancer. In this unique IMU, we gain insight into some of the challenges we face as physicians when patients suffer from both. We are delighted to have three eminent experts in the field of cardiovascular medicine:
- Professor Hasan Farhan, Consultant Cardiologist, will discuss cardiovascular risk stratification in patients with cancer
- Dr Israa Yaseen is a Cardiology Clinical Pharmacist, will discuss management of systemic hypertension in patients with cancer
- Dr Abtehale Al-Hussaini, Consultant Cardiologist, will share with us a number of educational cardiac case vignettes in oncology patients

This IMU is free to all physicians in Iraq, Members and Fellows of RCPE and all trainees.
Delegates will have the opportunity to submit questions to the speakers which will be addressed live at the event.
