Overview
This is an extra session as part of the Evening Medical Updates (EMU) programme which covers specialties, presentations and conditions included within the Internal Medicine Training (IMT) curriculum. Topics are covered in monthly updates between September and June of each academic year.
Although this event is aimed particularly at medical graduates who have either just started their first hospital job or will be starting after August, Evening Medical Updates are open to all healthcare professionals and medical students. This event is free of charge to all.
This EMU is designed to provide you with tips and advice for your first year as a new doctor. Many of you may already be gaining valuable experience of working on the ward, we hope this event will provide some extra insight for your first year. The programme features three speakers with a personal knowledge of this important milestone in becoming a doctor.
Registration & Broadcast
This Evening Medical Update will be delivered live online. All registered delegates will receive a personal webstream for the event to enable them to view the talks from their home or office, instead of travelling to the College or a webstream site.
The event will broadcast live, with a live Q&A at the end of the session. The event will also be recorded and made available on our Education Portal afterwards.
